Benelux scrap prices to strengthen further
Scrap prices in the Benelux, which have been on an increasing trend, are expected to further strengthen with local mills’ return to scrap purchases.
Turkish mills concluded numerous scrap bookings last week, at higher prices. EU-origin HMS 1&2 80:20 prices, which stood at $282-285/tonne cfr the previous week, rose to $290-293/t cfr Turkey in last week’s bookings.
