Benelux scrap prices strengthen
Benelux scrap prices have increased amid strong demand from exporters.
Dock prices for HMS 1&2 80:20, which stood at €200-205/tonne a week earlier, appear mostly at €205-210/t delivered. Higher prices at €212/t are also available from some exporters. With the stronger euro today, dock prices in dollar terms have increased even more, reaching $244-250/t versus $236-242/t last week.
