Benelux scrap price rise slows
Scrap prices in the Benelux continued their uptrend last week, although at a slower pace.
Dock prices, which stood at €330-340/tonne on the first business day of the year, have risen mostly to €335/t ($407) in Belgium – while €340/t is also available from some merchants – and €340/t in the Netherlands. All prices are delivered to the customer.
In India and Pakistan, scrap prices from the EU and the UK continued increasing last week…
