Benelux scrap prices rise amid firm demand
Benelux scrap prices, which recovered following Turkey’s return to the scrap market, have further increased last week amid Turkey’s continuing strong scrap demand.
Benelux dock prices, which increased to €200-205/tonne ($236-242) delivered last week have further increased to €205-210/t ($242-248) for HMS 80:20. Exporters who are paying €205/t, however, say inflow slows at this price.
