Benelux scrap prices remain unchanged despite cheaper exports
Scrap dock prices in the Benelux have remained unchanged since last week despite the further fall in export prices.
Turkey bought two Benelux-origin scrap cargoes last week with the HMS 1&2 80:20 component priced at $284/tonne cfr Turkey. Turkish mills have apparently failed in their bid to buy EU-origin HMS 80:20 at $280/t cfr, and have instead been forced to pay $284/t.
