Benelux scrap prices fall, market quiet
Scrap prices in the Benelux are following a downward trend, while European exporters’ appetite for scrap purchases is quite low.
Benelux exporters’ dock prices were mostly at €350-365/tonne ($378-393) delivered on Monday, down from €365-375/t a week earlier.
Exporters, however, are following a cautious stance and refraining from stocking material at these levels as they are unable to see the clear picture of the Turkish market.
