Benelux scrap prices decline under pressure

The absence of Turkish mills in the global scrap market and increasing pressure on scrap prices has resulted in a decline in Benelux scrap prices. Turkish mills’ scrap demand remained at low levels last week with only two scrap deals concluded from the EU. EU-origin HMS 80:20 was booked at $250/tonne and $255/t cfr Turkey in these deals.
