Benelux scrap price softens amid Turkey’s pressure
Scrap prices in the Benelux are seen to have softened towards the end of last week amid declining scrap prices in Turkey, the largest export destination.
On Monday, dock prices are seen standing mostly at €350-360/tonne ($395-407) delivered in the Benelux. This is down from €355-360/t last week.
The flow of scrap, however, remains weak.
