Benelux scrap prices seek direction
Benelux scrap exporters have decreased their prices based on the bookings concluded in Turkey last week. However, Turkish mills have failed to buy European-origin HMS 1&2 80:20 scrap at $450/tonne cfr Turkey, their target level.
Mills bought numerous scrap cargoes last week following a long-standing waiting period. Bookings were concluded, mostly from the US and the EU.
