Benelux scrap continues to rise on strong demand
Scrap prices in the Benelux continue rising amid strong demand from exporters. As domestic mills are also expected to start March trading soon, suppliers are seen targeting higher prices.
Exporters’ dock prices, which stood at €305-310/tonne last week, appeared mostly at €320-325/t ($384-390) delivered on Monday. However, €330/t is also available from some exporters in the Netherlands.
