Benelux scrap remains mostly stable, exports down
Collection prices in the Benelux remained mostly stable last week despite the pressure seen in export prices, Kallanish notes.
On Monday, dock prices for HMS 1&2 80:20 are seen standing mostly at €355-360/tonne ($400-406) delivered, unchanged from last week. Flow, however, remains low at these levels as sellers are targeting higher prices. The spread for shredded and bonus grades remains high, at €55-60/t.
