Benelux scrap market foresees further price declines
With scrap prices continuing to decline in the EU, market participants find a near-term recovery in values unlikely.
A Benelux scrap supplier tells Kallanish: “Our mills here will definitely need to buy following the holidays. But this will not help a recovery, I guess. Domestic mills will definitely put forward the declines seen in Turkish scrap prices in August.”
