Benelux scrap jumps, suppliers seek even higher prices
Scrap prices in the Benelux continued to increase last week, in line with the gradual increases seen in Turkish scrap prices.
Exporters’ dock prices, which stood at €325-330/tonne only a week ago, appeared mostly at €350-355/t ($406-412) delivered on Monday. However, €360-365/t was also available from some Dutch exporters and/or exporters that need material urgently.
