Benelux scrap falls amid market uncertainty
Scrap prices in the Benelux have decreased as a result of Turkey’s withdrawal from the market and European exporters’ reluctance to buy scrap in an uncertain environment.
Exporters’ dock prices, which stood at €330-335/tonne last week, appeared mostly at €310-315/t ($369-375/t) delivered on Monday. However, many exporters are seen refraining from announcing dock prices as they are unclear how the market will proceed.
