Benelux scrap prices continue where they left off
Benelux scrap prices have made a strong start to 2021, remaining firm after the holidays.
Both export and domestic business activities were almost nil last week, due to the Christmas and New Year holidays. Turkey did not buy any deep-sea scrap cargoes during the last week of 2020 due to the stagnation in finished steel sales.
