Benelux scrap continues rise, prospects remain firm
Scrap prices in the Benelux continued their rise since last week amid strong Turkish demand and higher domestic mills’ bids.
On Monday, Benelux exporters’ dock prices were pegged mostly at around €330-335/t ($355-360) delivered, up from €325-330/t a week earlier. Even €337.5/t was available from an exporter on Friday.
