Benelux scrap continues decline amid weak export markets
Scrap prices in the Benelux continued to fall on Monday amid weak market conditions in major export destinations, Turkey and India.
Benelux exporters’ dock prices were pegged mostly at €285-290/tonne ($300-305) delivered on Monday, down from €290-295/t a week earlier.
Although inflow remains quite poor at these levels, exporters, unable to see a clear picture of the market, are refraining from paying higher levels.
