Bekaert reaches preliminary agreement over Belgian restructuring
Belgian-headquartered wire producer Bekaert reached a preliminary agreement with trade unions at the beginning of this week regarding a restructuring plan affecting its Belgian operations.
According to the agreement, layoffs will number 125 and not over 280 as previously planned by the group, Kallanish notes.
