Bekaert to shutter Italian tyre cord facility
Global wire producer Bekaert, says that it is to close its unit for the production of rubber reinforcement wire located in Tuscany, Italy, Kallanish learns from the company.
The closure will affect over 300 jobs and is due to the significantly higher cost structure of the unit compared with similar Bekaert facilities in the EMEA region.
