Beijing ends iron ore mining history
After Beijing Weike Metallurgical Company and Shouyun Mining Company stopped iron ore mining at the end of 2020, Beijing city has now cleared all iron ore mining operations from the city, Kallanish notes.
Beijing Weike has an annual output of 500,000 tonnes of iron ore concentrate from about 10 million tonnes of gravel.
