Beijing declares red alert on pollution
Beijing has declared a red warning for pollution lasting from Tuesday morning to midday on Thursday. Although restrictions in Beijing will have little impact on steelmakers, producers nearby, especially in Hebei, are likely to face more restrictions this year than ever before, Kallanish notes.
