Beihai Chengde targets stainless output increase in 2018
Beihai Chengde, a stainless steel joint venture between Foshan Chengde Special and Guangxi Beibu Gulf Port Group, estimates it produced about 2.36 million tonnes of stainless crude steel in 2017, up 11.7% year-on-year. This year, it is targeting 2.8mt of stainless crude steel output, according to its 2017 annual customers' conference, Kallanish notes.
