Beihai Chengde grants Primetals CRC acceptance
China's Beihai Chengde has awarded the Preliminary Acceptance Certificate (PAC) for its three-stand Power X-HI continuous tandem cold mill from Primetals. This comes only six months after the mill started production in mid-2019. The new mill is able to produce 600,000 tonnes/year of cold rolled coil, Kallanish notes.
