Befesa buys American Zinc Recycling for $450m

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based American Zinc Recycling has been acquired by Luxembourg-based Befesa in a $450 million deal, creating a recycling megacompany for the steel and aluminium sectors, Kallanish reports.  The newly combined company will operate under the Befesa brand name.
