Bayi Steel to test HyCROF on large BF
The listed company of Xinjiang Bayi Iron & Steel says it will test its hydrogen-enriched carbon cycle and oxygen (HyCROF) technology for commercial use on its 2,500 cubic-meter blast furnace.
Bayi Steel will invest CNY 730.31 million ($101m) for this project, including CNY 297m using its parent company Baowu's R&D financial support. The total construction period is 13 months.
