Bayi Steel ignites HyCROF blast furnace in Xinjiang
Xinjiang Bayi Iron & Steel has ignited a 2,500 cubic-metre blast furnace with the hydrogen-enriched carbon cycle and oxygen (HyCROF) technology for commercial use.
Hu Wangming, chairman of Baowu Group, gave the order to light the fire at the commissioning ceremony last Thursday. Hou Angui, the newly appointed general manager of Baowu Group, also participated in the ceremony.
