Bayi Steel builds Xinjiang's largest scrap processor
Xinjiang-based Bayi Steel has recently built the largest steel scrap processing base in the region, and has put it into trial production.
The base now houses a 6,000-horsepower crusher, automatic rebar shredder and two different shearing machines. They achieve a combined capacity of 1.2 million tonnes/year, or 35,000 t/day, Kallanish notes.
