Baowu to transfer domestic capacity to Cambodia
China Baowu Group plans to relocate two blast furnaces and two converters from its subsidiary Bayi Iron & Steel to Cambodia, Reuters reports. The total iron capacity of the two blast furnaces is reported to be 3.1 million tonnes/year, and the two converters have 3m t/y of steelmaking capacity, Kallanish notes.
