Baowu to start Yancheng steelworks construction in 2020
The Baowu Group and the mayor of China’s Yancheng City negotiated the promotion of the Yancheng Steel Base on 13 April. The base is expected to start construction this year, Kallanish notes.
So far, Baowu has completed the construction plans and project filings. It expects to see the steel base commissioned within three years from 2020.
