Baotou to upgrade five privately-owned steelmakers
Five privately-owned steelmakers in Baotou City in Inner Mongolia will implement upgrade and transformation projects, according to documents released by local government, Kallanish notes. The five companies currently have a total capacity of 5.05 million tonnes/year of iron and 5.1m t/y of crude steel.
