Baotou Steel starts supply on major pipeline contract
Baotou Steel has signed a contract with China Petroleum Tech & Dev Corp. (CPTDC) for a quantity of X65M steel pipe, to support the latter’s crude oil export project in West Africa, Kallanish notes.
The contract covers a total of 46,000 tonnes of product. Baotou Steel delivered a total of 25,000t of pipe to the client on 12 March. It will complete production and delivery of the remaining 21,000t in accordance with contract requirements. The total len…
