Baotou Steel develops pipe plant with Tenaris
Baotou Steel in Inner Mongolia, China, says it will jointly develop a pipe plant with leading pipe producer Tenaris, Kallanish reads in a stock exchange filing.
The two companies will establish a joint venture, Tenaris Baotou Steel (Baotou) Steel Pipe Co., with the support of the Baotou Municipal Government. The registered capital of the joint venture is $32.6 million, with Baotou Steel accounting for 40% and Tenaris Far East Company accounting for 60%.
