Baotou offers steel rails to Inner Mongolia
Northern China’s Baotou Iron & Steel Company will supply 30,000 tonnes of steel rails to a railway project in Inner Mongolia, according to local media. The project is part of China’s ambitious transportation infrastructure expansion over 2016-2020, Kallanish notes.
The railway connects Inner Mongolia to Beijing, running at up to 160 km/h for 245 kilometres.
