Baotou commissions autosheet annealing line
Northern China’s Baotou Iron and Steel has commissioned the first of two SMS Group-supplied annealing lines for its automotive cold rolled coil plant, Kallanish learns from SMS.
The first line has a capacity of 630,000 tonnes/year and the two lines will have a combined capacity of 1.5 million tonnes/year. The second line is scheduled to be commissioned in mid-2016. They can handle widths of 830-1580mm and thicknesses of 0.25-25mm.
