Baosteel Zhanjiang commissions CRC annealing line
Baosteel's Zhanjiang steelworks began commissioning its 1,550mm cold-rolling continuous annealing line on 1 August, according to the project contractor MCC20 Group. The line is part of the 2.55 million tonnes/year Zhanjiang high-end white goods and autosheet steel products project.
According to the announcement the annealing line will mainly process high strength steel for automotive applications and premium grades for white goods, Kallanish notes.…
