Baosteel Zhanjiang commissions 300,000t/y electric steel line
Baosteel's Zhanjiang site in southern China successfully hot-tested its 300,000 tonnes/year electrical steel plant on 13 July.
The plant has been relocated from the Shanghai Baoshan site according to Baowu News. The 1,550mm cold-rolling line is mainly focused on producing electric steel for white goods, print motors, small machines, ballast resistors and miniature transformers, Kallanish notes.
