Baosteel wins exemption from Australian duties
The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission has approved an exemption of certain grades of hot rolled sheet from anti-dumping and countervailing duties. The exemptions were brought after a request from Baosteel’s Australian pipemaking subsidiary, Bao Australia, Kallanish notes.
The exemption covers hot rolled micro alloyed non-heat treated steel sheet of grades BS700MCK2 and BS700MCK4. Yield strength must be at least 680 Mpa and thickness between 2.5-…
