Baosteel starts third blast furnace construction at Zhanjiang
According to a report by Baosteel's listed arm to the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the construction of the No.3 blast furnace at its Zhanjiang plant has recently been started. The new 5,050m³ furnace will add some 4.05 million tonnes/year of hot metal capacity, Kallanish notes.
