Baosteel stainless to add 1.8m t/y capacity
Baosteel Stainless Steel will have a stainless steel capacity of 1.8 million tonnes/year at its Desheng site in Fujian after the relocation of some capacity from its Shanghai plant. Hu Xuefa, the general manager of Baosteel Stainless, says the company aims to build Desheng into a high-end stainless steel centre as part of its development plan, Kallanish notes.
