Baosteel Special Steel saves CNY 29/t through insulation
China’s Baosteel has accepted completion of a contract with Danieli to install Q-Panels at its EAF. The innovative insulation technology has cut operational costs at the EAF by EUR 4/t (CNY 29/t, $4.45/t), Danieli says.
