Baosteel to raise CNY 10bn through bond offering
Eastern China’s Baosteel is planning a new short-term bond offering to raise CNY 10 billion ($1.57 billion). The announcement came even as the company recorded in Q3 its first quarterly loss in almost three years after financial costs soared, Kallanish notes.
The company is issuing bonds valued at CNY 100 each with a yield of 3.18% and a period of 366 days. China Construction Bank and Bank of China are underwriting the bonds.
