Baosteel orders finishing unit from KOCKS
Baowu Group subsidiary Baosteel has ordered a new rolling mill with a KOCKS Reducing & Sizing Block (RSB) for its steel plant in Shanghai, China.
The new RSB 300++/4 from KOCKS will be located as finishing unit after 14 stands in H/V arrangement at a 600,000 tonnes/year combined bar in coil and wire rod mill. Commissioning is scheduled for the end of 2023, Kallanish learns.
