Baosteel holds May flat steel prices, Wugang increases
Most flat steel prices remain unchanged by Baosteel for May shipments, but those from Wuhan Iron & Steel (Wugang) are to be increased, Kallanish notes.
Baosteel will hold its prices for May for hot-rolled coil, cold-rolled coil, picked coil, hot dipped galvanized coil, electric dipped galvanized coil, galvanized-aluminium coil and colour-coated coil. Thick-plate prices have been lifted by CNY 80/tonne ($11.9/t) however.
