Baosteel invests in Chongqing automotive plant
The authorities in Liangjiang New District in China’s Chongqing says that Chongqing Baosteel Automobile Steel Limited Company will invest CNY 85 million ($13m) to expand a 16,000 square metres automotive parts facility. The company hopes the additional 50,000 tonnes/year of processing capacity could be followed by more investment, Kallanish notes.
