Baosteel sets up joint venture with Zhanjiang Port
China’s Baosteel Zhanjiang Steelworks has set up a joint venture with Zhanjiang Port Group. This will be called Guangdong Zhanjiang Port Longteng Shipping Co Ltd, according to local media reports monitored by Kallanish.
The new company will focus on providing towing services for Baosteel's raw material imports and finished steel product exports. Zhanjiang Port is reportedly planning more cooperation with Baosteel on the planning of a Donghai sea wharf,…
