Baosteel expects 2.6% drop in 2016 Chinese demand
China’s Baosteel has said that it expects Chinese steel demand to fall from around 698 million tonnes in 2015 to 680mt in 2016. The forecast comes in slightly below Kallanish’s expectations once normalised to the same basis.
