Baosteel Desheng begins plant installation at HRC mill
Baosteel's Desheng steel plant has reached the equipment installation stage for its new stainless steel hot-rolling mills, Kallanish notes.
The project, with seven 1,780mm hot rolling mills, is now due to commission in September 2020. After all the mills are put into operation, Baosteel Desheng will have 4 million tonnes/year of stainless HRC capacity.
