Baosteel Desheng completes pickling line hot test
China Baowu Group’s Baosteel Desheng in Fujian province has successfully hot tested the 1,600mm pickling line of its first-phase stainless steel expansion project, one year ahead of schedule, Kallanish notes.
The hot annealing and pickling line (HAPL) in Fuzhou city has a capacity of 800,000 tonnes/year of annealed coils, mainly 300 series and 400 series, with a thickness of 2-10mm and a width of 730-1,600m.
