Baosteel Desheng caps No.4 blast furnace
China’s Baosteel Desheng Stainless in Fujian province has capped its No.4 blast furnace, which was constructed by Shanghai Baoye Group, Kallanish notes.
The company expects to see a 2.241 million tonnes/year of iron capacity from the new 2,500m3 BF. According to subsidiary Taiyuan Iron & Steel, which cooperated on the construction and will become Baowu Group's stainless steel headquarters, the BF will be put into production by end-June…
