Bayi profits from increased production/sales in first half-year
Baowu Iron & Steel Group’s Xinjiang Bayi Iron & Steel Company returned to profit in the first half of 2017, Kallanish notes.
Over the period Bayi produced 1.09 million tonnes of long products and 1.27mt of flat products, with both categories showing on-year increases of 22.4% and 73.3% respectively.
